Back to Bangkok

Last night we flagged down a tuk tuk and made our way to Chiang Mai train station for the 17:55 sleeper train to Bangkok, actually quite sad to be leaving Chiang Mai because it has so much to see/do and is so chilled out! It was early evening when we were at the station so light was amazing and meant I was able to get some quite cool photos...

The train was a pretty mammoth journey and took 14 hours... about 6 hours longer then the coach! But it was a lot more comfortable because the seats fold out into beds.

Me and Izzy booked a hotel we had found on Trip Advisor  last night, called Silver Gold Garden, it is close to the airport (ideal as our flight tomorrow is at 7:50am). It's near enough as cheap as the places we looked on Khao San Road but its so much nicer! We made our way to the airport, where the hotel picked us up from, and will drop us back off in the morning. We even had our bags carried to our room for us... hardly feels like travelling!

Izzy spotted these stickers in the back window of the taxi which were pretty amusing!
